Funeral services for Jessie James “Tuffy” Jimison, 34, Sidney, were at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 9th, 2013, at Pella Lutheran Church in Sidney with Pastor Charlane Lines officiating. Interment took place in the Sidney Cemetery under the direction of the Fulkerson Funeral Home of Sidney. Remembrances and condolences may be shared with the family at http://www.fulkersons.com. Jessie James “Tuffy” was born on May 26, 1978 in Sidney, the son of Sherri Jimison. He grew up and attended schools in Sidney, graduating in 1997. Following graduation, he worked for his grandfather, Jim Jimison, and later worked with his Uncle Jimmie Jimison with the Northern Line Layers. Tuffy then started in the oil field working on the rigs. He worked for several different companies while working in the oil patch. He then started working for Cole Houchen’s company, Yellowstone Valley Concrete and Construction, where he was working at his time of his death. Tuffy enjoyed ice fishing, snowmobiling, four-wheeling and any activity outside. He especially enjoyed outside activities when he was with his children. He also enjoyed his work. He was very active in AAU and high school wrestling. In 1994, he went with the high school wrestling team to Austria and New Zealand. Jesse James “Tuffy” died Sunday afternoon, Feb. 3, 2013, of injuries received in an accident near Cartwright, N.D. He is survived by his son, Kaleb James Jimison, East Fairview, N.D .; and his daughter, Riley Jo Jimison, East Fairview; his mother, Sherri Jimison, Sidney; his brother, Jeremie Harris, Helena; his sister Carrie (Pat) Gaffield, Sidney; his grandmother, DeAnn Jimison, Sidney; his aunt, Tammie (Ken) Berndt, Mandan, N.D .; his uncle Jimmie (Connie) Jimison, Billings; his two nieces and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James “Jim” Jimison.
