Sidney Assembly of God’s Hangar Youth Ministry is set to host their annual WinterBlast All-nighter on December 28, 2012. The night is full of activity and is open to all 6th thru 12th graders at a cost of $25. Students do need a permission form signed by their guardian for the event.
Through the years the event has grown to over 300 students. Each year a different guest is featured from a concert with the Tim Bach Band to a motorcycle stunt man in Brad Bennett. This year will feature the Clear Vision Drama Company. A talented band will open up with a mini concert. Then Clear Vision Drama will be taking center stage as they show us the biggest drama of our lives. Visit http://www.cvdrama.org for more information.
As usual the night will involve ice skating, basketball tournament, volleyball tournament, and video games. New for 2012 will be inflatable big toys. Pizza will be served along with some early morning Nachos. A half court shot contest will happen somewhere in the wee hours of the morning for an unspecified amount of cash.
Several years ago the success of the event demanded action. Now, there is a sister allnighter that takes place in Glasgow, MT. The two nights share the featured guest for their nights, but each night has taken on its own life bringing a beacon of light to Eastern Montana. For more information please do not hesitate to contact Associate Pastor Greg Ledgerwood at Sidney Assembly of God, 433-2550.
