Public Invited To a Taste of Ethnic Christmas

The Chateau de Mores State Historic Site and the Northern Plains Ethnic Foundation invite the public to attend “A Taste of Ethnic Christmas” at the Interpretive Center of the Chateau de Mores on Sunday, Dec. 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A Taste of Ethnic Christmas is sponsored by The Friends of the Chateau de Mores.

Vendors including the German Russian Heritage Society, Sons of Norway, Ukrainian Cultural Institute, Czech Heritage Society and Scandinavians will feature holiday foods. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for youths ages 6 to 15, and children under age 6 are free. Visitors are also welcome to tour the Exhibit Galleries Open House featuring “Emigrants from the Empires: North Dakota’s Germans” in the temporary gallery.

Medora’s Old Fashioned Cowboy Christmas will be held on December 7, 8, and 9, 2012, sponsored by the Medora Chamber of Commerce.
