Parade of Trees Auction in 10th Year!

The 10th Annual Parade of Trees Auction and fundraiser is underway with the Boys & Girls Club of Richland County partnering with the Family Resource Center and the Sidney High School Key Club and Business Professionals of America for this year’s event. To carry on the tradition, the auction will take place the day after Thanksgiving; Friday, November 23 at 6:00 p.m. at the Village Square Mall. As has been the custom, awards were given to donors for Mayor’s Choice, Children’s Choice, People’s Choice, Best in Show, Most Unique, Best Non-Tree Entry and Best Use of Theme to coincide with Sidney Chamber of Commerce Parade of Light’s Theme, “Charlie Brown Christmas.” The community is encouraged to come out and support this annual fundraising event as it directly benefits our local youth and area families. This year’s donors included: The Sunshine Ladies, Tim Anderson, Sidney High School Period 4 JMG, SHS Period 6 JMG, Key Club, BPA, Meagan Dotson, Monica Reuter, Kelly Block & Debra Anderson, Kaleb Kutzler, Rocky & Nancy Carpenter, Joan Nelson, Christy Nelson, Helen Butterfield, Patti Iversen, Trading Card Kids, Reynold’s, Forever Buds 4-H, Marvin & Ronda Welnel, and Wildcat Trucking.
