The Sidney High School Cross Country team is hosting a Turkey Trot for all ages on November 23rd. There will be a 1k kids run for 6th grade and lower, a 3k walk, and a 5k run. All races will begin and finish at Sidney High School.
Registration forms can be picked up at any of the Sidney Public Schools. Fees for the Turkey Trot are as follows: Kids 1k is $20 with pre-registration or $25 the day of, 3k Walk is $25 with pre-registration or $30 the day of, and the 5k Run is $30 with pre-registration or $35 the day of. Race packets, including shirt, tag, schedule and course map will be available for pick up between 3pm and 6pm on Wednesday, November 21st at Sidney High School.
The Turkey Trot will begin with the Kids 1k starting at 10AM, followed by the 5k Run starting at 10:30AM, and the 3k Walk starting at 10:45 AM. The school will be open for indoor warm up and restroom use.
Awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place boys and girls in the Kids 1k, while gift and cash prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female 5k runners.
