The Sidney Public School’s Activities Office would like to express its thanks and gratitude to all the members of the Community, and the members of the Sidney Area Chamber of Commerce, that worked so hard in the past few weeks in the City of Sidney’s hosting of the Eastern A Divisional Cross Country Meet at the Sidney Country Club, and the C Divisional Volleyball Tournament at Sidney High School.
The community, and its efforts as hosts of these events, received much positive comment at both venues, and the efforts of the people involved were much appreciated by our fans, parents, and athletes, too.
Special thanks to those members of the Chamber of Commerce who supplied dinner to the volleyball teams on Thursday evening, and supplied the Hospitality Room on all three days… the C volleyball committee was very appreciative, and collectively look forward to coming back to Sidney next year for the event.
We truly live in a special town with special people!
