The five young individuals in the picture represented Richland County in the Sectionals of the Jaycee and NFL sponsored “Punt, Pass, and Kick” competition that took place at Connors Field in Miles City on Sunday, October 14, 2012. · Maddie Peters scored well enough overall to finish first in her age division and possibly an opportunity to compete in Denver, before a Denver Bronco’s game in December.
· Boston Peters finished second in his age division and kicked the ball off the tee for a new State record of 53’ 4”, breaking the old record of 51’4” that was set by a young man from Whitehall in 2002.
· Max Peters had the furthest throw in the passing portion of the competition of 123’ 6”, including all of the players at the competition up to 15 year olds.
