The Sidney cross country team recently traveled to Colstrip to compete. In Hardin, Lakayla Nentwig led the varsity lady Eagles with 12th place overall with a time of 23:15. Layne Schaffer led the varsity Eagle boys with seventh place overall with a time of 18:08. The rest of the varsity girls’ times include Tori Hill, 19th with 23:52, Tess Ler, 35th with 26:11, Mikayla Verhasselt, 44th with 34:20, Tresha Sanders, 45th with 34:28, Draven Patridge, 47th with 38:53 and Molly Wilkinson, 48th with 44:13. The rest of the varsity boys times include Christian Anglesey, 21st with 19:15, Jared Troudt, 48th with 23:06, Sean Loftus, 54th with 24:46 and Mark LaPan with 30:26.
Tessa Hill led the junior high girls, seventh with 11:05. The rest of the junior high girls included Morgan Barnett, 32nd with 12:47 and Johren Carpenter, 73rd with 19:11. Zach Summerfelt took 7th for the junior high girls with a time of 11:02.
The Eagles will travel to Billings on Saturday.
