The Sidney cross country team recently traveled to Glendive and Hardin to compete.
In Glendive, Lakayla Nentwig led the varsity lady Eagles with seventh place overall with a time of 21:58. Layne Schafer led the varsity Eagle boys with fifth place overall with a time of 17:32.
In Hardin, Lakayla Nentwig led the varsity lady Eagles with eighth place overall with a time of 21:55. Layne Schaffer led the varsity Eagle boys with eighth place overall with a time of 17:46. Also competing were Tori Hill with 23:53, Tess Ler with 25:18, Mikayla Verhasselt with 31:05, Tresha Sanders with 32:37 and Draven Patridge with 35:41. Varsity boys included Christian Anglesey with 19:09, Sean Lofthus with 22:40, Jared Troudt with 25:00 and Mark LaPan with 26:38.
Tessa Hill led the junior high girls with 12:29, coming in 11th. The rest of the junior high girls included Morgan Barnett with 15:17, Ashley Wilson with 19:07 and Johren Carpenter with 22:28.
The Eagles will travel to Colstrip this Saturday.
