The Richland County Extension Office will be hosting the “Solid Finances” webinar series again in 2012 and 2013. This is the second year for these webinars, which are conducted by extension professionals from the MSU campus in Bozeman.
Topics and dates for this year include:
September 26- Tips for researching an investment advisor
October 3- How much life insurance do I need?
October 10- When should I refinance a mortgage?
October 17- U.S. Savings Bonds
November 29- Retirement planning for defined benefit plan participants
December 6- Retirement planning for defined contribution plan participants
December 13- When should I claim Social Security benefits
January 17- What single people need to know about estate planning
January 24- What couples “living together” need to know about estate planning
January 31- What married couples without children need to know about estate planning
February 7- What married couples with children need to know about estate planning
February 21-Montana tools for avoiding probate
February 28- Talking with aging parents about finances
Participants will be able to view all of the above webinars at the Richland County Extension Office, or, if you feel comfortable doing so, in the privacy of your own home. All webinars will be held over the noon hour on the specified dates.
