Kim Syth presented a $1200 scholarship to each of the following Fairview High School students: Ashley Skorpil, Jenna Finsaas, Jorden Cotter, Shelby Norby and Tiffany Kittleson.
Brent Torgerson, president, awarded Alyxandra Hardy and Ashley Skorpil each with $750 and Jenna Finsaas with $1,000.

Merchants Bank purchased First Security Bank-West in Fairview in October 2011. The new owners decided to continue the scholarship program through the bank. Brent Torgerson, president, awarded Alyxandra Hardy and Ashley Skorpil each with $750 and Jenna Finsaas with $1,000.
