The Boys and Girls Club of Richland County Sports Memorabilia Dinner and Auction has been set for 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 31 at the Richland County Fair Event Center located on the Richland County Fair and Rodeo grounds.
Last year, the club raised over $30,000 thanks to the generosity of this community. Some of the items that have already been secured for this year’s auction include 2 tickets for the Fall NASCAR weekend at Talladega SuperSpeedway on Oct. 6-7 (includes tickets for the Camping World Truck Series race and the Sprint Cup race, thanks to Monty Erickson), 2 tickets for all 10 nights of the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Dec. 6-15 (also includes 2 tickets for both nights of the Richland County Rodeo, thanks to the Richland County Fair and Rodeo Board), Limited Edition Carol Hagan Print “Orange Glow of Sunset” #12 of 30, autographed Billings Little League World Series Team Baseball, 2 tickets to Montana Grizzlies at University of North Dakota football game (Oct. 20), autographed Percy Harvin, Minnesota Vikings, photograph, autographed Paul Krause, Minnesota Vikings, jersey (thanks to Thom and Jeanna Barnhart), autographed Troy Aikman photograph, autographed John Elway, Denver Broncos, mini helmet, autographed Reggie White, Green Bay Packers, football, autographed David Tyree, New York Giants, “The Catch” framed photograph, autographed Mike Ditka, Chicago Bears, football, autographed Tubby Smith, Minnesota Gophers, basketball, 4 autographed Brett Hull photographs, autographed Jack Ham, LC Greenwood, John Stallworth and Andy Russell, Pittsburgh Steelers, helmet, autographed Hines Ward, Pittsburgh Steelers, photograph, autographed Tim Duncan, San Antonio Spurs, photograph, autographed Shann Schillinger, Atlanta Falcons, hat, photo and game-worn shoes, gloves and hand towel and various Marc Mariani, Tennessee Titans autographed items (thanks to Blinda Larsen). This year’s theme is “Tailgating” and guests arriving in their favorite team’s jerseys or face paint will be entered into a special raffle. The dinner will be catered by The Ranger Lounge, Casino & Eatery and will be buffet style, featuring Mike’s famous chicken fried steak and fried chicken. Special tailgating appetizers will also be available starting at 5 p.m. Tickets for the event are $25 each or 2 for $45.
