First Lutheran Church, 916 Main, Williston, is having their 79th Annual Lutefisk and Meatball Dinner in the Fellowship Hall, Saturday, Feb. 25. They will be serving from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. or until they are out of food.
Tickets are available at the church office, Monday-Friday. Adults: $15; students through junior high school: $6; preschoolers: $2.
Six hundred men, women and youth are involved in preparing, planning and serving the family style dinner. There will be delivery service until 3 p.m., and take-out service from 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Please call the church at 701-572-6363, on the day of the dinner to arrange these services.
Over 3,500 people were served meatballs and lutefisk at the 2011 dinner. The church will be preparing 2,400 lbs. of lutefisk, 1 ton of potatoes for lefse and potatoes for the meal, and 650 lbs. of hamburger for meatballs, and all the trimmings for the dinner.
