Mike Gear Night Set For Friday

Sidney Eagle fans, alumni, friends and former players are invited to come celebrate a night in honor of Hall of Fame Football Coach Mike Gear.

Gear served for 35 years as head coach of the Sidney Eagles with 222 wins and 99 losses. He had 20 years in the playoffs, 10 divisional titles, 11 state championships and 9 state titles.

“Mike Gear Night” will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday Oct. 7, at Maurice Swanson Field in Sidney prior to the varsity football game vs. the Hardin Bulldogs.
