Philip and Robyn Johnson of PJ’s Auto Glass and Radiator Repair, Sidney, served up a meal of chili, grilled hot dogs and cookies to the folks camping at the Richland County Fairgrounds who are here to work the beet harvest. Robyn Johnson said they just felt it was the Christian thing to do, to help them out. “They are here in our community to help with harvest and we need to help them out too,” Robyn said. They encourage other entities to show their community spirit and provide a meal as well. RVer Katie Spencer whose husband, Carl, is here to work the harvest, provided toiletries for the workers. She was grateful to Pamida for giving her a discount on the items. The workers will be here until the end of harvest.
