Patnaude Becomes New Sidney Chamber Administrative Assistant

Back in May, when Iwona Patnaude and her family first came to Sidney, looking at possibly relocating here, the first place they went to was the Sidney Chamber of Commerce. After visiting with volunteers who happened to be working that day, they left. As they were walking outside, Patnaude said “That’s a place I want to work!” On Monday, she started her new job as the administrative assistant at the Chamber. Originally from Poland, Patnaude moved to Sidney from Las Vegas, NV, with her husband, John, an Interstate Engineering land surveyor, and 10-year-old Victoria who attends Westside Elementary School.

Iwona has worked as an administrative assistant for engineering companies since 2003, dealing with entities and customers. She is happy to be in Sidney and working at the Chamber. “I’m thrilled to be here and to be able to meet the people and help out,” she said. “I like to be in the middle of events and help out.”

Chamber Executive Director Wade Van Every is “tickled to have someone who cares about people and has energy and enthusiasm for the Chamber.”
