Parenting Class Offers Opportunity To Strengthen Relationships

The Nurtured Heart Approach (NHA) parenting class, designed to create healthy, positive relationships with the people in your life, will be held from 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m. CT on Oct. 4, 17, 25 and Nov. 1 (please plan to attend all classes) at the McKenzie County Courthouse meeting room, Watford City.

Cost to attend is $75 per individual or $85 per couple, which includes class materials and workbook. These classes are based on the book, Transforming the Difficult Child: The Nurtured Heart Approach by Howard Glasser, M.A. and will be presented by Counselor and Nurtured Heart Advanced Trainer Nikki Johnsrud.

NHA is a powerful method designed to offer all youth, especially those challenging and intense, an opportunity to develop a new behavioral model through a series of successes.

NHA is a revolutionary way to facilitate success, self-esteem and greater happiness in every area of life for “ALL” youth and it works as soon as it is used. Children begin to flourish, embracing their magnificent qualities and increasing their inner wealth, thus identifying with success!

For more information and to register for the class, please contact the McKenzie County Extension Office at 701-444-3451 or Nikki at COPING Consulting 701-570-1753.
