Three Sidney athletes participated in the 2011 Prairie Rose State Games on July 9 in Bismarck, ND.
Facing good competition from local and regional North Dakota athletes, including some North Dakota state placers, they were able to take three of the top four places.
Competing in the Pole Vault event for 15-18 year olds, Mikayla Minow finished 1st with a jump of 10’6", Jalyssa Gorder vaulted 10’0" for 2nd and Lexie Prevost cleared 9’0" to take 4th.
