Sidney Richland Co. Library To Hold Tech Thurs. Programs

The Sidney Richland County Library is starting a Tech Thursday program to educate the community on the social networking tools (i.e. Facebook, Skype) that are rising in popularity. Their aim is to have free classes that show the outstanding benefits of these programs, and to give tutorials. This July they are giving classes on Skype, Facebook and another Skype class.

The Library has been granted a brand-new, savvy computer lab that will be the vehicle to this public education. The classes will be every Thursday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. The second class will be the week on July 21; this will be the Facebook class. Then the final Thursday, July 28, will be the Skype class.

Future classes will be announced at a later date. The facilitating teachers will be Joel Kessler and Rebecca Hayes.

For any questions call the library at 433-1917, check out their website at http://www.richland.org/spl, or the Sidney Richland County Library Facebook page. Call and sign up to help them plan accordingly.
