In response to flooding across much of Montana, Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE: WFC) is contributing $10,000 to support the efforts of the American Red Cross.
“We want to help our communities, customers, team members, friends and neighbors who have been affected by the flooding and may face a difficult recovery ahead,” said Joy Ott, Wells Fargo’s regional president for Montana. “We know our contribution will help fund the important work of the Red Cross in assisting victims of this devastating flooding. We truly appreciate their efforts.”
“It’s heartening to know that community business leaders like Wells Fargo are behind the important work the American Red Cross is doing statewide—that should mean a great deal to Montanans, and will help offset the rising costs of helping families develop a recovery plan,” said Rod Kopp, Red Cross CEO.
Wells Fargo customers affected by the flooding should contact their banker and visit their nearest Wells Fargo store to discuss financial options. Affected customers also can contact Wells Fargo 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 1-800-TO-WELLS (1-800-869-3557).
