88th Annual Wolf Point Stampede Set For This Weekend

Activities To Include One Arm Bandit and Company

Area residents once again have the opportunity to enjoy good family entertainment during the 88th annual Wolf Point Stampede that runs from Wednesday July 6 through the weekend. Activities include three nights of rodeo action, specialty act One Arm Bandit and company featuring Lynn Payne, a street fair, parades, a street dance and a host of other interesting activities.

“Our specialty act this year is One Arm Bandit and Company with Lynn Payne,” says Christie Stensland, media personnel with the Stampede. “They will perform every night. This act has been very popular with the Wolf Point Stampede in the past and we are glad to have Lynn to carry on the tradition. The act started with John Payne, and his son, Lynn, will carry on the tradition. Lynn is an accomplished bronc rider, horse trainer, and roper, and he has a very entertaining act that the whole family will enjoy.”
