SHS alumni wrestlers competed in their opening matches at the Trapper Invitational in Powell, WY, on Nov. 5. 2021 Sidney High School graduates Aden Graves and Zander Burnison and 2020 graduate Jordan Darby wrestled their first collegiate matches of the season. Saturday, Sept. 24, Sidney Eagle High school sports history was made. It is something that will be aspired to for years to come. During a meet at the Culbertson track, Carter Heggem broke the Sidney High School record for the 5K in Cross Country. He completed the race in a whopping 16 minutes and 43 seconds. The Eagle golf teams hosted the Sidney Invitational, Friday, Sept. 9 at Sidney Country Club with 9 of the 10 Eastern A Boys teams and 8 of the 10 girls teams present. The Lady Eagles came away with the first-place team trophy with a team score of 403 led by Mercedes Lamb's 5th place career best 98 and Ella Norby's 7th place 99.
