Birds and Birdies, a fundraising tournament event benefiting the North Dakota Petroleum Foundation will be held Monday, May 15 and Tuesday, May 16 at the McKenzie County Sportsman's Club and Fox Hills Golf Course, Watford City. The Sidney Eagles boys baseball team had an amazing game Friday night versus the number one team in the state, the Belgrade Panthers. The Panthers were undefeated until they met the Sidney Eagles and were upset 5-3. At the bottom of the 5th inning the score was tied at three. McKenzie County 4-H Archers took home first place honors in the Barebow Beginner Division at the 4-H Archery Indoor Championships held at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds in Minot on April 25.
