The #1 ranked Fairview Warriors played the 4-2 Scobey Spartans at Starr Field, Fairview, Friday night. The Warriors scored twice in the first quarter for a 14-0 lead. Sidney Country Club is excited to announce the installation of golf simulators in the club house with both league and open play available. Tentative hours of operation are 7-11 a.m. and 2-7 p.m. seven days a week. Leagues will start at 5:30 p.m. with men's on Mondays and Thursdays and ladies' on Tuesdays. On Friday, Oct. 4, the Sidney High School golf team began round one of the State A golf tournament in Polson with a late start due to a frost delay. After round one, the Eagle boys were in sixth place after shooting a team score of 326. Tanner Tiesen led the way after shooting his lowest round of the year with a 76. He was tied for 11th.
