Waters, who placed third in the discus at last year's Class A state track meet, is off to an even better start this season.     Savage's boys' track team accounted for 69 points to grab third place at the Fairview Invitational on May 1. Savage's girls ran to 71 points at the meet. Zane Pilgeram led the attack for Savage's boys as he earned first place in the triple jump at 39-5, second in the long jump at 19-1 and second in the high jump at 5-10. Savage’s Brooke Reuter came away with first-place honors in the 100 at 12.63 and 200 at 25.59. The senior also placed second in the long jump at 17-5 and third in the triple jump at 33-8.     The Sidney Eagle baseball team had two tough losses over the weekend, which ended their dreams of participating in the State Baseball Tournament in Missoula.     District 2B appears in line to be increased to seven teams for basketball, volleyball and track starting in the 2025-2026 school year. The Montana High School Association Executive Board voted to reclassify Plentywood High School from Class C to Class B during a meeting last week.
