  • Killdeer Rodeo Kicks Off July 1-5

    July 1-5, the Killdeer Saddle Club will host the 101st annual Killdeer Mountain Roundup PRCA Rodeo. Monday kicks off the week of rodeo with the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association Barrel Racing slack. The Calcutta begins Tuesday at 5 p.m., followed by the PRCA performance at 6 p.m. Dunn Center will have a bouncy house at City Park on Wednesday, starting at 11 a.m. and a parade to follow at 1 p.m., with a potluck at City Park afterwards. The Calcutta for Wednesday’s PRCA performance will again be at 5 p.m. with the evening’s rodeo at 6 p.m....

    To inaugurate the new outdoor basketball court in Savage, the Savage Industrial Technology Program (shop) and Burns Creek Inn will host a Co-Ed 3 on 3 basketball tournament on Saturday, June 29. Brackets are ages 8-13, 14-18 and 19 and older. Each bracket will allow up to four players per team and cost to enter is $40. Proceeds from the tournament will go to the Savage Industrial Technology Program to help purchase higher grade equipment, and to provide smaller supplies for students wanting to participate in the sport..
