Saturday the Sidney cross country teams went to Miles City. In the varsity girls race, Tess Ler finished with a top 20 finish. She took 16th with a time of 20:49. Also racing was Tessa Hill, 23:31; and Ashley Ray, 28:12. On the varsity boys side, Christian Anglesey ran a time of 17:48, Zach Sommerfeld ran a time of 18:05 (a new season best time for him), and Skyler Tibbits ran a time of 22:00. The Sidney girls volleyball team will be wearing pink Thursday night against Miles City at the Sidney High School gymnasium in honor of breast cancer awareness. The public is encouraged to wear pink to the game also. There will be a silent auction in the balcony and a quilt auction. All funds raised will go towards breast cancer services in the area and in the state of Montana.
