The Eagles scored two in the second inning after a Williston error scored one run and Kayson Radke grounded out, scoring one run. The pitching of junior Amiya Steinbeisser kept Sidney close as the Eagles trailed by only a 3-0 margin after three innings of play. Fairview placed third in the boys' team standings with 52 points and placed seventh in the girls' standings with 30 points.
