Outstanding season opener in Billings by SHS Speech and Drama Team(s)! The Sidney High School Speech and Drama Team travelled to Billings Skyview for their first competition of the season. Head Coach Gail Staffanson led the Speech Team to a 2nd place finish. Danny Johnson competed in Extemp finishing 1st. Sidney's 5th and 6th Grade Tackle Football Team traveled to Forsyth this Saturday and Sunday to compete in the 2014 State AAU Tournament. The team went undefeated in the tournament with wins over Colstrip 18-12, Hardin 30-0, Glendive 30-8 and Forsyth 92-0. The Sidney 12U Babe Ruth All-Star Team competed at the Cal Ripken Montana East State Tournament held in Havre on July 10 - 13. Christian and Trevor Dean participated in the Home Run Derby on Friday night during the Skills Competition.
