Two members of the Sidney Tendo Tae Kwon Do and Judo school travelled to Dickinson, North Dakota to participate in the 5th Annual Frozen Tundra Invitational Judo Tournament. The SHS Speech and Drama Team travelled to Huntley Project for their last meet before divisionals in Glendive on January 24th. Competing against 29 schools the Drama Team placed 1st in Class A Sweeps and the Speech team took 3rd in Class A Sweeps. Sidney High School Speech and Drama travelled to Laurel this past weekend. Competing against 19 schools from across the state. The Drama team finished in 2nd place in class A Sweeps and the Speech team finished in 3rd place in class A Sweeps. Speech coach Gail Staffanson's impromptu competitors finished in 1st and 2nd place! SHS Speech and Drama Team is finding their groove and winning! The team has competed in 5 meets so far this season; the Drama Team has finished in first place at four out of five of those meets. The Speech Team has finished in the top 3 at the meets. This past weekend the meet was held at Billings Central, there were 25 schools competing with over 400 competitors.
