    The Sidney Gymnastics Club is bursting at the seams with approximately 200 gymnasts from Sidney, Fairview, Glendive, Lambert, Savage, Crane, Culbertson and Williston who train at the facility on a weekly basis. The Club is working to raise funds for a 1200 sq. ft. expansion which will allow for more space for each class, and better schedules, creating opportunities for more children to participate and more convenient times for parents.     The Sidney Middle School Wrestlers had a very successful and busy weekend. Friday afternoon November 18, they traveled to Baker for an invitational. Saturday November 19 the wrestlers came home to host their own tournament here in Sidney and won the tournament with 273 points. Placing second was Miles City with 210.5, Glasgow was 3rd with 178. There were no team points kept in Baker.     The Sidney Middle School stepped on the mat for the first time this season on Saturday, November 12 to claim first place at the Forsyth Invitational Tournament with 87 points.     Mackenzie Sparby of Watford City, ND recently signed a letter of intent with the University of Jamestown. The University offered her a four-year scholarship, and she will begin classes in the fall of 2017.     There were over 560 swimmers competing for State championship records and we brought a total of 46 to compete. Saturday was hot, but the majority of our swimmers cut time off their best and placed themselves up from where they were seeded. This allowed for a rowdy, yelling Sunday as we were working to dominate in the water. Tiger Sharks who made it to Sunday all were swimming their hardest and cut even more time against some very tough competitors.     The Sidney Tiger Sharks competed in Malta this weekend for Divisionals. They had 55 swimmers after having to scratch some for injuries that had occurred prior to the meet. It was a rough start to the day on Saturday as many of the swimmers were adding time with the change in pool and nervousness of being at Divisionals. I asked them to dig deep and swim for the team, as we needed everyone’s points to be successful.
