On a cold snowy Saturday afternoon, the Fairview Warriors welcomed the Scobey Spartans to Starr Field for a semi-final matchup with a trip to the championship on the line. If you were in Sidney this past weekend the Richland Hockey Arena was the place to be. The arena stayed busy hosting 12 games for the 8th Annual Damon McLaughlin Memorial Tournament - Bantam level. The home team Bantams dominated the ice this past weekend, going undefeated and keeping the championship right here at home. The Sidney High School Close Up Organization will be holding its annual Cream Puff volleyball game fundraiser Tuesday, Nov. 19. The junior and senior boys will be competing at 6 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. The entry fee is $5 and no activity passes are accepted. There will be concessions available. The Fairview Warriors kept their winning streak going as they dismantled the Choteau Bulldogs in the quarter-finals Saturday, Nov. 9 at Starr Field. Wyatt McPherson took the second play from scrimmage 57 yards for a touchdown to get the scoring started early.
