    Williston - On July 21, 2024, at approximately 1:28 PM CT, a small single engine aircraft experienced problems with the landing gear upon landing at the Williston Basin Airport. The pilot, Douglas Hilderman, and passenger, Charlyn Hilderman flew into Williston from Regina, SK. Both Douglas and Charlyn exited the aircraft and were evaluated by Williston Ambulance staff.     Mountrail County Sheriff Corey Bristol has reported that on Thursday, July 18 at approximately 10:12 a.m., a 74-year-old Sidney man drowned at the New Town Marina, west of New Town. ND.
