    On November 23, MDU applied for Authority to Implement a Tracking Adjustment for Montana State and Local Taxes and Fees for Tariff Rates 56 and 87.     On Nov. 4, Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. filed an application with the Montana Public Service Commission for Authority to Establish Increased Rates for Electric Service. In it, MDU proposes a total increase of $10,499,415. This will affect the rates of about 25,600 customers and bring their rates up 19.2%. MDU also is asking for an interim rate relief of $1,716,219.
