  • Fairview Graduate Participating in RATPOD Bike Ride for Camp Mak-A-Dream

    D.J. Benton, a 1991 Fairview graduate, will ride his bicycle through the beautiful Pioneer Mountains in southwest Montana on June 22 in a fundraiser for Camp Mak-A-Dream. The full route encompasses 127 miles with a 62 mile option. Camp Mak-A-Dream is a cost-free medical camp in western Montana serving kids, teens and young adults who are affected by cancer.   • Memorial Day Weekend Race in Watford

    BTMA is sponsoring another motocross race in Watford City on May 25. This will be our 7th race as we host one a month. Anyone can enter and there are categories for all ages and abilities. BTMA has goals of providing dirt bikes and riding gear for youth that can’t afford it.     On Saturday, May 11 St. Matthew’s will be holding their Spring Fling from 7-11 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Parish Center in Sidney, MT. The cost is $10 per person and it will be for grades 6th-8th. It will be open to all area youth. There will be DJ music by Midnight Express. This semi-formal dance will be a lock-in for safety and students will only be allowed to leave early if picked up and signed out by a parent.     A lot of trash can accumulate during the long winter months in our area, and it’s 15 miles to the Richland County landfill. Fairview residents can take advantage of the city-wide cleanup from 8 a.m. to noon at the Fairview water depot on 9th St. Dumpsters will be on site to take your trash and help will be available to unload.
