Billlie Hillsland’s Lularoe and Chris Entzel’s J+C Essentials will be holding a free will donation BBQ and selling products, 3-6 p.m., Friday, September 29 in The Rush’s parking lot. A percentage of the proceeds from products sold by Lularoe and J+C Essentials will be given to Montana Stockgrowers Association to help those who have been affected by the fires in Western Montana. One hundred percent of the money gathered from the free will donation BBQ will be given to the Montana Stockgrowers Foundation....
The VFW Auxiliary announces this year’s Buddy Poppy Campaign. Through the Buddy Poppy campaign, more than 10 million dollars is raised each year, all of which is dedicated entirely to veterans’ welfare locally and nationwide. The VFW Buddy Poppy annual distribution starts Tuesday, September 19 and will continue through Saturday, September 30. Please give generously when asked and wear your Buddy poppy proudly....

The MonDak Animal Rescue’s (MDAR) annual Dog Jog will be held Saturday, September 16. The event will utilize proceeds from the fundraiser to support operational costs of the shelter. MDAR rescues/adopts more than 350 pets a year; making sure every pet sees a local veterinarian for vaccines prior to adoption. The Dog Jog also allows MDAR to keep its adoption fees lower and bring the spay/neuter clinic to the community every February....
