    WASHINGTON – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Tom Vilsack today announced that eligible producers may now formally enroll in the Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs for 2014 and 2015.     BOZEMAN – Montanans who battle wheat stem sawfly now have a new weapon to consider using. Over the next four years and possibly longer, wheat producers will be able to use a granular insecticide against the No. 1 small grain insect pest in Montana.     Except for pockets in northwest North Dakota there is a decreased level of overwintering wheat midge larvae across the state for the 2015 season. The high risk pockets of 800 to 1200 midge larvae per square meter are concentrated in Mountrail and Divide Counties. Areas with moderate risk of 501-800 midge larvae per square meter are located in only Williams County.
