The Fort Buford 6th Infantry will host its 6th annual Military Collectors Show Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 9 and 10 in the multi-purpose building at the Upper Missouri Valley Fairgrounds, Williston. The show is a fundraiser for the Fort Buford 6th Infantry which is a living history group portraying the Fort Buford soldiers in the 1870s. On Aug. 1, at approximately 5:59 p.m. CT, on Hwy. 85-mile marker 177, five miles south of Williston there was a two-vehicle head on collision. A 2020 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Maria White, Groves, TX, with a passenger, Jose White, Groves, TX, was traveling northbound on Highway 85 near mile marker 177 when it hydroplaned on the wet road caused by a heavy downpour in the area.
