On Monday, Aug. 5, 8:29 p.m. CT, a 2013 Yamaha motorcycle was traveling north bound in the 400 block of 32nd Ave. West, Williston. The motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed and lost control while negotiating a slight left-hand curve. The driver, Derek Wehrman, lost control of the motorcycle and struck the east curb. Mountrail County Sheriff Corey Bristol has reported that on Thursday, July 18 at approximately 10:12 a.m., a 74-year-old Sidney man drowned at the New Town Marina, west of New Town. ND.
