On Sept. 12, the McKenzie County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence south of Watford City, ND, for a report of a fire at a residence. Upon arrival of law enforcement, a deceased female was located inside of the residence with injuries sustained from the fire. Watford City Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Parade of Lights will be lighting up the city Friday, Nov. 24 at 6:30 p.m. This year, the parade will start at the old fairgrounds then turn west onto 4th and then turn onto Main St. The parade will end on Park Ave. and Main with fireworks.
