  • Canisters at Richland County Landfill to Reopen Thursday

    Canisters at the Richland County landfill have been closed temporarily due to the dumping of about 30 barrels of oil over two weekends. County Commissioners said the canisters will reopen on Thursday, November 9th but Commissioner Loren Young said,“If the abuse starts up again, we will consider closing them again.” The county has seen an uptick in dumping at sites in Lambert and Savage as well as at the landfill.
