    The Sidney Eagle varsity golf team hosted the top ranked team in the state, the Laurel Locomotives, for a dual on Thursday, Sept. 12. Due to lightning, thunder, rain, and winds the players were called off the course twice, and therefore play was suspended for the day. Only two Sidney players were able to finish all 18 holes.
