    The results are in and, once again, E-rase your E-waste organizers have exceeded the goal they set for their 2014 annual collection events. "We wanted to celebrate our 10th anniversary by collecting enough e-waste to bring our 10-year total over 175 tons, and we did it with one and a half tons to spare," Committee Chair Jackie Couture noted.     Despite the fact that the hills still look green, there have been several fires in recent days. The photo above is of the old Dean Whiteman farmstead about six miles north of Richey burning on July 20. A lighting caused fire had burned some of the area on Thursday, July 17, with an east wind fanning the flames. Sunday, the area reignited, with a northwest wind carrying the fire.     Edwin D. Beery 74, of Vida, eldest son of Margaret and Newell Beery passed into Eternity on March 27th, 2014 at the Billings Clinic from complications of a worn out heart. Eddy was born on Aug. 25, 1939 in Wolf Point, Montana. He lived and breathed the family farm and ranch from birth to death. Eddy graduated from Richey High School in 1957 and was always proud of being a Richey Royal. Eddy will be dearly missed by his family and community.
