    More than two-dozen people were injured, and a seven day-old baby was killed, when a tornado tore through Watford City on Tuesday, July 10. The tornado, which reached speeds of 127 miles per hour, according to meteorologist John Paul Martin of the National Weather Service, destroyed more than one hundred structures and damaged vehicles and property throughout the city. McKenzie County Economic Development recently reviewed the results of a customer analytics study done by the Buxton group.     On June 12, Watford City voters will have an opportunity to remove the current $25 cap on sales tax within the city. A citywide sales tax of one cent was first passed by Watford City in 1998, called the Roughrider Fund, when it took in approximately $100,000.
