The McKenzie County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed that 68 year old Valentine Ene from Arizona died several days after receiving injuries during an assault on June 1, 2024. Detective Brandon Kindred stated that the incident took place on private property on the North Dakota side of 32nd St NW, Fairview. A 1969 Ford Mustang with its left turn signal activated was stopped near the fog line facing west waiting to make a left turn off Hwy. 23 onto a gravel road.
