On Sept. 17 at approximately 11 p.m., the Watford City Police Department responded to multiple 911 calls of gunfire at the Inn at Hunters Run Hotel, 3617 6th Ave. NE, Watford City. On Aug. 26, 2022 at about 6 a.m. CT, a silver 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab, driven by Errol Malone Jr, Minot, ND, was traveling west on 28th St NW in rural McKenzie County. Construction for the Bakken Area Skills Center kicked off with a groundbreaking ceremony July 18. This is a big step for the center as it has been in the works since 2016.
