On Aug. 1, at approximately 5:59 p.m. CT, on Hwy. 85-mile marker 177, five miles south of Williston there was a two-vehicle head on collision. A 2020 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Maria White, Groves, TX, with a passenger, Jose White, Groves, TX, was traveling northbound on Highway 85 near mile marker 177 when it hydroplaned on the wet road caused by a heavy downpour in the area. On June 21 on CR 30 and 133rd Ave. NW, SW of Watford City there was a fatal crash. A Honda Pioneer 1000 UTV, driven by Trenton Coy, Sidney, MT, was traveling southbound on 133rd Ave. NW. A 2020 Ford F550, driven by Travis Gudmunsen, Arnegard, ND, was traveling eastbound on CR 30. Coy failed to yield at the intersection of 133rd Ave. NW and CR 30 and was struck by the Ford. Coy was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced deceased on scene. Gudmunsen was uninjured. At the time of the crash the road conditions were good and the weather was sunny....

At approximately 6:40 a.m., June 7, on McKenzie CR 10 near 132nd Ave. NW, a 2016 Kia Optima, driven by Clay Youngbird, Sidney, MT, was traveling westbound and entered the eastbound lane. An eastbound 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Colton Wood, Williston, ND, swerved right to avoid the westbound Kia Optima. On June 7, at approximately 7:20 a.m. CST, a 2006 Kenworth driven by David Jordann, Killdeer, ND, was eastbound on Highway 85 near mile marker 153. It went off the roadway, striking a traffic safety device. The Kenworth came to a stop in the south ditch. Jordann suffered a medical emergency and was found unconscious inside the vehicle.
