The Three Buttes 4-H club made cookie baskets to give away to the local Lambert community, for a Christmas community project. We gave away around 27 baskets. Each basket held an assortment of cookies, brownies, candies and other holiday treats. We rolled them into a clear bag, tied a fancy ribbon around and hung two ornaments painted by the members of the Three Buttes 4-H Club. During their meeting on Monday, Sept. 22nd the Sidney Lions Club unveiled their PlusOptix mobile vision screener, which is the latest and greatest technology in Lions International development. For Taylor Sheehan, Monday has turned out to be the best day of the week. Sheehan, who was paralyzed from the waist down in a one-vehicle accident on March 7, 2010, has been walking with the aid of an Indego Exoskeleton each of the last several Mondays as part of a trial study.
