11 has been a productive year for Sidney Public Schools. Several facility improvements, educational enhancements, updates, and other changes have come along for the benefit of the students, staff, and community. Richland County Transportation is asking county residents to help them determine the direction of their service by filling out a quick survey. The service is twelve years old and has grown and changed a lot. The question is whether the existing plan still works or whether there are additional services that residents would utilize. Beautiful, creepy and interesting hay bale sculptures are all over Sidney, Savage, and Lambert in Montana, once again. They are the creations of groups from 4-H and from the general public as well and are awaiting the critical eyes of residents and visitors alike to judge and vote for them. Savage's Tyler Lien had never shown a 4-H steer, but swept up two big wins at the 2017 Richland County Fair & Rodeo. The twelve-year 4-H veteran had years of experience showing pigs in the ring, but had never delved into the steer business. "I always showed pigs because they were easier to keep.
