All signs still point to an above average sugarbeet crop. Soil samples taken last week were the second best in the past five years according to Sidney Sugars agriculturalist Russ Fullmer. The Montana Department of Transportation would like to notify the public and seek comments on a proposed installation of highway-railgrade crossing signals, flashing lights and gates on County Road 128 three miles north of Sidney, MT, Richland County.
